She advised us that the water was better down closer to the pier.
The hurricanes earlier this year really ripped up the beach and with so many storms coming through while we were there it was rough.

It's raining. Where's the Ark?

We walked the beach in the rain. We swam in the rain. There was lots of rain.
Two days in a row we saw this.

I have some better shots of it on 35mm, but it'll be awhile before those are scanned in. I shot 20 rolls. I so need to get the digital Rebel.

My Wife, during our long walk in the rain, found these treasures on the beach.


And I found these.
Batman cape, Ninja Turtle, clear shell, and driftwood club.
Score!

We also found 2 dead seagulls, a dead sea turtle (only its' shell), a huge dead fish (front half only) that had apparently been bitten in half by something really large, like a dolphin or a shark, and a sea slug.
No, we didn't bring any of those back with us.


In person this blonde girl looked like Paris Hilton.
I'm not saying that's a good thing. It's just what she looked like.
I called her Paris and her friend, Nicky, all week long.
I have no idea what their real names are, but Paris' mother looked exactly like her, only older and deteriorated, as you would expect.
The real Paris' mother is much better looking.
But money can do that for you, you know.

OK, she was swimming in our pool with her kids.
But she wasn't staying in our condo.
Her condo was next door, but had no pool.
Why did she get away with it, you ask?

The two couples on the right had a blast all week long.
The couple on the left is just two fat guys.
I don't think they had much fun.


I knew what she was laughing at at the time, but now ...


OK, I knew the names of the 2 girls on the left, who are the same 2 girls from the photo of the 2 couples which I said had a blast all week long.
Now all I can remember is that the blonde is named Tanya.
The girl to the far right is the daughter of the woman in the photo below.


We talked, but I forgot her name.
Her sister was there, too, and I forgot her name as well.
So sorry. My brain is not at full capacity when I am on the beach.
They were really nice and friendly to us.


Cruising, back and forth, back and forth, all week long.
There was a group of guys, unusually muscular, who apparently caused several of the girls to do a lot of this.
But this particular girl, if I remember right, was a decent surfer, so I'll cut her some slack.


Also, she has large breasts and ... well, you know the rules.
