Local Car Show

Corvette

Twin '57s.
Seriously, they were totally identical in every way.

Really, really nice Camaros.

Nice custom Stingray.

Eleanor clone.
Bring me Angelina Jolie and in 60 seconds I'll steal this car for her.
And the sex.
Mostly for the sex.
You did see the movie, didn't you?
'Cause otherwise you have no clue what I'm talking about.

In my mind I hear George Carlin saying, "Monte Monte!"
I don't know why.

Ah yes, the first real muscle car - GTO

They say that hot girls with large breasts often seek out overly macho men.
I think this couple just likes to role play.
I could be wrong, of course, and those breasts might actually be real.

Back in the day, when fins were just going out of style.

Old Caddy from the inside.

Cool ride, ala Bonnie and Clyde

Haulin' ass!

The best Cadillac ever!

He sat there, all by himself, for the longest time.
I'll bet he was watching the hot young chicks walking by.

Anyone feeling ill? This'll get you to the hospital in style.

When I was repainting my 1971 Monte Carlo I inquired about this exact factory paint color.
It was expensive.
Damned expensive.

The Munsters are here and one of them isn't wearing a shirt.
Then again, it's 100 degrees so I can't really blame him.
He kind of looks like he's melting, doesn't he?

Paint it red. Call it Christine.
Too cool.

Huntsville Arsenal, eh? I wonder where that is?

Notice the big yellow smiley face in the background.

I look at this old Willys Jeep and in my head I hear Alan Alda getting all preachy.

Fire! Fire! Fire! Huh huh huh, this is cool.

Mr. Shelby's Cobra

I love the helmet.
I don't understand it, but I love it.

These days are ooooooouuuuurrs, these happy days!

Shelby Mustang heading for the highway. Looking for adventure.

Old boys play with old toys.
When they talk about 'T and A' they mean old Ford cars.

Oh, I just couldn't resist taking this photo.
Am I going to hell?
That's his car.
They both look SO old.

T Bird!

Buh Bye!

Comments:
I am a huge car buff. I collect 1/18th scale dicast models. I love all the pics. I, however, am a purist. I hate when people take an old car and chop the hell out of it. In my opinion, there are only so many of these cars left they need to be restored to original. If you didn't like it the way it was buy something else then.

ISavant, I got the 1/18 scale bug, too. Now I have a closet filled with little cars I can never drive. And in my garage is my high school dream car that I thought I'd never have, which I never drive either. In fact, last night I charged the battery for about 8 hours because it had run down to nothing while just sitting there. I know, I know, this is a sin, but it has no air conditioning and it is 97 degrees here. My old '71 Monte Carlo hasn't been driven in a long time either and I'm sure the battery needs charging on it, too. And then the '69 Wildcat, as always, just yesterday in my driveway, having not been driven in forever, just started right up so I could move it to edge the driveway. That car never dies, no matter how many things the neighborhood gang of white trash killers do to try to destroy it.

Those were great! And the boobs, they were real. We with fakes can spot real ones a mile away, lol.

I'm positively drooling. Great shots!

M~

That yellow camaro has my name written all over it. And the twin '57s? The one on the left has a front license plate, the one on the right doesn't.
;P~
~L.

Brighton, you're killing me. I was perfectly happy thinking she was all fake. I don't know why, but it made me feel better. She and her man were all about making the scene. Now I wish I had photographed her from the front when I had the chance. She was killer.

Greek, I would have been drooling too if I weren't having a heatstroke out there.

Laura, yeah, I caught the license plate, but I meant the more permanent details, they were all exactly the same, right down to the rear fender skirts, (which I hated.) I guess if you take the yellow '69 Camaro and then I'm taking the green one.

Those are great...I really really want that silver mustang.

Leesa, you want the Eleanor clone? Me too. But you claimed it first so I'll stick with my green '69 Camaro and Laura's taking the yellow one.
