Hummingbird Troubles

Here is our hummingbird feeder, as used appropriately.
For some reason the camera was determined to focus on the bush behind the hummingbird.

Here is the hummingbird feeder as it has been used lately.
Something is wrong here.

Here is the hummingbird, royally pissed off.
For a time he buzzed the invading birds and they flew away, but they've since grown accustomed to that and now simply ignore him.
All he can do is watch as they guzzle his food like fat people at a buffet.
This has been going on for at least a week.
These birds must be really buzzed from all that sugar.

Comments:
Sheesh, poor hummingbird...

I have the same problem when I try to take shots like this...

Anyone know how to solve that problem?! (lol, get a better camera?!)

I've never seen other birds use that feeder, and we have many. Very odd.

J Star, yeah, it's getting rough out there.

Greek, it's an autofocus thing. I busted the motor on my Canon Rebel 50mm lens because it keeps clicking itself over into autofocus mode and I don't ever use it. So it finally broke. And I don't miss it at all.

Leesa, I've never seen it before either. It's crazy.
